Big L Flamboyant was the stage name of Lamont Coleman, an American rapper from Harlem, New York. He was born on May 30, 1974 and began his music career in the early 1990s. Big L was known for his aggressive and complex rhymes, which garnered him a reputation as one of the best lyricists of his time. He was a member of the hip hop groups Diggin' in the Crates and Children of the Corn. Big L released his debut album, Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous, in 1995, which received critical acclaim.
